Winter in Brussels

It's been way too long since I've updated the blog, but I've just been way too tired. Tomorrow is my last day of work and then hopefully I'll be able to get some much needed rest for a couple of weeks before the baby arrives. We're down to the last 2.5 weeks -- almost there! In the meantime, we got some snow today in Belgium, and Michael convinced me to try out our new video camera by making a video with him. So here it is - think of it as an electronic Christmas card to all our friends and family from Jane, Michael, Zoƫ, Pi and Finnigan! I'll keep the posts coming in the next few days!

That was great! Especially loved the kitties at the cat door. They're so talented.

You look fantastic Jane for being ready to pop. Your all baby with the mother glow. I wish I carried half as well as you. Good luck with the delivery.

First of all, I love you all. I am so delighted to SEE you. This is one of the most hilarious things I've seen lately and I have shamelessly stolen it and put it on my blog. I love the way you edited it and put the music over the talking on the back porch. The hat is so Jane and the antics so Michael. The animals however, sort of steal the show. That DOG! Those kitties are too funny. I just LOVE this and can't wait to see what you do next with the camera. Good SHOW!!
Love to all and see you soon! Grandmaman.

Hi Jane,
Your mom and I just watched your video together from Mississauga and Markham and did a lot of chuckling and chatting as we viewed it. I had to watch it again independently to grasp all the detail without grandmaman to distract me. Wonderful things lie ahead for your family and I can't wait to see the video which includes all of you plus grandmaman and grandpapa. We will be watching daily. Love to all of you.

Dad and I just saw this and we had so much fun watching the two (three, five) of you! Jane, you look so beautiful and READY! Two weeks to go. Good to see you haven't lost your sense of humor. Michael, you looked just like you did when you were little. Thanks so much for the laughs.
Love the animals too. Pi and Finny are so cute and the dog next door...I hope he's as friendly as he is big. Love you guys! Mom

Mike & Jane,
Just terrific! Seeing the videos of the two of you only reminds me how much we miss you guys and look forward to coming to visit in late April.

By the way, that video camera is just great as far as the images it shows.
Also, while shopping today, your mother and I decided that when the baby comes we expect daily pictures of her. I've said that the first picture I get will become my screen saver.
Love
Dad
